Employment Outcomes

State-wide job data show CIS programs take three of the top five degrees based on average starting wage. Over 15% of the technical graduates from SPSCC graduate from a CIS program. The bureau of labor statistics projects a faster than average growth in the job market for technical computer skilled occupations. Internships for college credit are available to help prepare students for work upon graduation.

Faculty

CIS is staffed by first-class faculty who teach classes and assist students. CIS offices are in the same building as most CIS classes, making CIS faculty easily available to help answer your questions.
